Please go to ISchO Portal (ischoportal.mit.edu) and follow the steps 1 - 3 below.
Step 1: If you have a Kerberos username, try using it to log in at the Full Access section. You will be asked to input your Kerberos username and password, and go through Duo, a two-factor authentication process. If you cannot log in at this step, please clear your web-browser cache, then proceed to step 2 or email portal-help@mit.edu to add your Kerberos username to your ISchO Portal account.
Step 2: Even if you have a Kerberos username, you may not be able to use it to log in if our system, ISchO Portal, doesn't have your Kerberos username information yet. In this case, you can still log in at the Limited Access section with the following information:
- Your MIT ID
- Your Date of Birth
- Your limited access PIN (this can be found in some of the emails sent to you, for example, emails with the following subject lines:
- “Request for Information:…”
- “Preparing for Your Arrival at MIT”
- “[Your name], please register with ISchO”
If you still cannot log in at this step, please clear your web-browser cache, then proceed to step 3.
Step 3: Even if you have an MIT ID, you may not be able to use it to log in if our system, ISchO Portal, doesn't have your MIT ID information yet. In this case, you can still log in at the Limited Access section with the following information:
- Temporary ID (generated by ISchO Portal for temporary use, this can be found in some of the emails sent to you, for example, emails with the following subject lines:
- “Request for Information:…”
- “Preparing for Your Arrival at MIT”
- “[Your name], please register with ISchO”
- Your Date of Birth
- Your limited access PIN (this can be found in the same emails listed above with the Temporary ID)
If you have completed all three steps above and continue to have difficulty accessing the ISchO Portal, please contact portal-help@mit.edu for additional support.
Note: If you currently cannot log in with your Kerberos username, once you complete the registration and supply us with your Kerberos information, you will be able to log in to ISchO Portal at the Full Access section afterwards.

Please try the following steps:
- Make sure the document you need to upload is in .pdf, .png, or .jpg format.
- Make sure the name of the document doesn’t contain any special characters.
- Make sure the name of the document doesn't contain a double space or double full stops.
- The file should not exceed 100 MB.
- Clear your web browser cache/cookies.
- Make sure you are using Chrome or Firefox, the preferred web browsers.
- Log-out, then log in again to the system and redo the e-form.
